Undergraduate students who are not majoring in Computer Science or
Computer Engineering, but are registered in the current term to NATS1930 course or the service courses named
with prefix CSE15, will now be accommodated in Room 1002, Lassonde Building (LAS), formerly known as the Computer
Science and Engineering Building (CSEB).
Please note that access to CB160/161 rooms in Chemistry Building is no longer available to students enrolled in CSE15xx
courses!
LAS1002 lab is used for classroom instruction,
tutorials, student work, and student evaluation (e.g., in-lab tests).
It is a large lab space
equipped with support for instructor-led activities (a large projected
display) and thirty three workstations for individual or group work.
The workstations are dual-boot Windows (default operating system) and Linux (only available by course instructor request).
These computers will be shared among Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate students, CSE15xx and NATS1930 students.
The room is booked by a large number of courses during the school year. You may not have access to it outside your
course scheduled lab times or drop in periods. Please check the lab schedule for availability.
The use of these facilities is governed by the policies set for Prism Lab.
Please address inquiries to the Prism Lab monitor located in LAS1006,
during lab hours or e-mail us.
