Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) Appointment

Dr. Srikantha has been awarded the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in the area of Reliable and Secure Power Grid Systems. This award will be in effect from March 1, 2021. She has received the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) grant as well. More details are available here.

Appointment as an Associate Editor

In May 2020, Dr. Srikantha has been appointed Associate Editor in IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.

Successful Master's Thesis Defense

In April 2020, Junfei Wang successfully defended his Master's thesis entitled "Deep Learning on Smart Meter Data: Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring and Stealthy Black-Box Attacks" with publications in reputable IEEE Transactions and Conference venues. Great job Junfei for your hard work and many congratulations! He will be continuing his graduate studies in the RISE lab at York University.

IEEE Transactions on SIPN Publication

Jingyuan Liu has co-authored with Dr. Srikantha the paper entitled ``Decentralized Topology Reconfiguration in Multiphase Distribution Networks" in IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks. This is Jingyuan's first transactions publication. Congratulations Jingyuan!
