NO = DO NOT MOUNT, may cause damage. (Nikkor IX lenses extend back into the body, can't use even with MLU.)

(1) Lens will mount but not allow metering. Set exposure mode to manual. Note these bodies will prohibit metering with the use of bellows or any other camera attachment (MF extension tubes, etc.) that does not provide AF linkage

(2) No matrix metering, other metering modes (spot or center-weighted as available on body) OK. Aperture priority OK, shutter priority is not.

(3) Body doesn't have circuitry to drive lens AF-S motor, MF is OK.

(4) No program exposure or shutter priority.

(5) Will not provide matrix metering with AI'd lenses.

(6) Can not take non-AI unless modified (meter coupling lever). Thanks to Wes Kinard for this info.
