ITEC_CHAT is a mailing list for you – ITEC students. It’s a public, un-moderated list. This means anyone can post a message to list, and messages are posted without being screened.
It is recommended that you get on this list and use it to “network” with other ITEC students. You can post questions, like
I’m in ITEC 101x, and I’m having trouble
with Question 9, in Assignment 5. Can
anyone give me some tips on how to proceed?
or
How do you copy an Excel formula across
a group of cells?”
or
Would anyone like to get together in
the Gauss lab this weekend, so we can work together on Assignment 1 for

That kind of thing!
To get on the ITEC_CHAT list, here’s what you need to do:
Send an email message to LISTSERV@YORKU.CA. In the subject line, put anything you want. (This is ignored.) In the body of the message, put SUBSCRIBE ITEC_CHAT. And that’s it. In a few minutes, you’ll get a confirmation message from LISTSERV telling you that you are on the list.
To send a message to the list, just send email to ITEC_CHAT@YORKU.CA.
