Hello, my name is Jacob (Jack) Gryn, I am a Research Associate working under the supervision of Richard Wildes for the Vision Lab in the department of Computer Science & Engineering at York University. I am also a member of York's Centre for Vision Research and have completed my Masters degree as part of the Lab for Active and Attentive Vision under the supervision of John Tsotsos and co-supervision of Richard Wildes. I have also recently started CO₄ Computing Inc. (Computer Consultant Contractors Corporation) which hires subcontractors to do web, seo, programming, it and other computer related taks.

As stated above, I have received the title of "Master of Science in Computer Science" and I have received my Bachelors of Science Degree (with honours and as the recipient of the Ryerson Gold Medal) in Applied Computer Science from Ryerson University

I previously sat on the board of directors at the condominium I lived in. I am a former alumni member of Ryerson's Senate (formerly Academic Council). I am also the founding / past president of the Pi Rho Chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity (2000-01, 2001-02; AEPi is a Jewish Fraternity that provides opportunities to network, build leadership and time-management skills) and a past president of the Jewish Student's Association (renamed to Hillel) at Ryerson (2000-2001). I have also served on the RyeSAC board of directors for 2000/01 and 2001/02 and am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. I have also been fortunate enough to be the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships during my academic career.

I have also been a TA for various courses at York and Ryerson.
