• Two free DVI previewers are the DVIWIN and the YAP ("Yet Another Previewer"). The latter is embedded in the MiKTeX    free TeX/LaTeX distribution.
 

YAP is the better of the two DVI previewers, and highly recommended (who knows, you may find use for the entire TeX package that comes with MiKTeX, not just its excellent DVI previewer).
