Final exam

  • The final exam is closed-book, but APIs will be provided if necessary.
  • The final exam will take place on Thursday August 2 during class time.
  • The final exam will cover Chapter 4-9, 11-15 and 17. Note, however, the following points:
    • Some material has been excluded (see news).
    • The textbook covers both the client and the implementer views. In this course, our focus is on the implementer's view because the client view has already been covered in CSE1020.
    • Material covered in class, including the posted notes, is also included.
  • On the day of the test, remember to bring a photo ID and optionally a (non-electronic) dictionary.
  • An answer booklet will be provided and you will write everything in it. In particular, you may not bring any blank sheets of paper for scratch work.
  • The questions of the written part will focus on concepts, but you may also be asked to write small snippets of code. A sample of the written part can be found here. (this sample test is a three hour test)
