Test 3

Time: Monday December 6, 14:30-15:20
Place: Ross South 137 if your last name starts with A-M
Place: Ross North 203 if your last name starts with N-Z

The third test will focus on Chapter 7, Section 8.2 and Section 9.1 and 9.2 of the textbook (excluding Section 7.5.3, 7.6.2, 7.6.3, 7.7, pages 318-319, page 349) and the additional material available on the course webpage and discussed in class. Students are also considered to be familiar with the material for the first and the second test.

The test is a closed book test. No aids are permitted. Manage your time carefully. The last page of the test can be used as scrap paper. Tests written in pencil will not be considered for remarking. Do not leave during the last 10 minutes and stay seated until all tests have been collected.


Is it a good idea to practice writing pseudocode?

Yes, that is a good idea. In the test you will be asked to use pseudo code (which is more abstract than concrete Java code).
