What is IGIPI?

IGIPI is a library of ontologies based on the IGIPI Ontological Framework, used for integrating the vast amounts of knowledge on the semantic web. All ontologies are represented in the OWL Web Ontology language. Knowledge that can be integrated includes gene interactions, protein interactions and other biomedical knowledge.

How do I annotate my website with semantic information?

Pick the ontology that interests you and the observation timegoal(s). If you can not find it please contact us using the forms provided. Annotate your website with timegoals and appropriate contributions of the observation timegoals to the ontology timegoals (positive, negative). Check the OWL specification and examples on the IGIPI website.
