DB2 Universal Database (UDB) On Line Information This product is installed on Sparc Solaris systems accross research and education. We have installed DB2 V6.1 on Education and Research servers. On NT pc's we have installed the parallel version of DB2 UDB - Extended Enterprise Edition. To access db2, some environment variables are set. This is done by sourcing the $INST_HOME/sqllib/db2cshrc file if you are using the csh or tcsh shell. If you are using /bin/sh, then run db2profile. You can then connect to your database.
