York University is contained in the square bound by Finch Ave, Keele St., Steeles Ave., and Jane St. in the north-west of metropolitan Toronto.

By Public Transit: Take the subway to Downsview station (the last stop on the Spadina line). Follow the signs to the York University Express Bus (currently #196 previously #106E). Take the bus to the last stop at York Lanes, right on the York campus. (The regular York University bus (#106) takes only 5-10 minutes longer, but makes many more stops and does end up at the same location.) The trip to York from the St George subway station is about 50 minutes using the Express Bus.

From the Yonge subway, the express bus (#196) departs from Sheppard Station. The Steeles West bus (60) also goes past the campus and some make stops on campus as well (60C,F).

Once the bus arrives at York Commons - take the passage way to the North side of York Lanes (when the bus arrives it is pointing west), and proceed due west past the Farquarson Building to the CSB Building. The CSB Building is located on the north side of the Curtis Lecture Halls.

By Car:

• Option 1: from the 400: Take the Steeles exit from the 400; proceed east past Jane St. to the North West Gate. Turn right (south), and follow the signs to the 5A Parking lot.

• Option 2: from the Allen Expressway: go north to Steeles; turn west (left) at Steeles, and proceed past Keele to the North West Gate. Turn left (south), and follow the signs to the 5A Parking lot.
