  • Dec. 7
    Test 3 and Labtest 3 will be held on Dec. 13 at 2pm (the time of the scheduled final exam). Students will take the written test first from 14:00 to 15:20 in room CSE B; afterwards, the class will take Labtest 3 from 15:35 to 16:55 in the Prism Lab in CSE 1006 and CSE 1002 on the ground floor of CSE building. The test and labtest will cover all the material seen this term, with a focus on Chapters 6, 7, and 8 of the lecture notes by Van Breugel and Roumani, as well as on the material on linked lists that we have seen in class (Savitch ch. 15). You can find a practice written test here, and a practice labtest here. Office hours will take place at the usual times until the exam.
  • Nov. 15
    The second labtest will be during the week of Nov. 15 during the labs. Please go to the lab section that you have been assigned to. The labtest will cover the material in Chapters 1 to 6 inclusively of the lecture notes by Van Breugel and Roumani. The emphasis will be on Chapters 4, 5 and 6.   • Nov. 9
    The second written test will be on Nov. 11 during class. It will cover all the material seen in class up to Week 7 inclusive, i.e. Chapters 1 to 6 inclusively of the lecture notes by Van Breugel and Roumani. The emphasis will be on Chapters 4, 5 and 6. You can find a practice test here.
  • Oct. 7
    The office hour on Oct. 8 is cancelled. During reading week, office hours will be held at the regular times.
  • Sept. 30
    The first written test will be on Oct. 7 during class. It will cover the material in Chapters 1 to 3 inclusively of the lecture notes by Van Breugel and Roumani. You can find a practice test here.
  • Sept. 27
    The deadline for submitting PEx02 is extended until Sept 28 at 10pm.
  • Sept. 20
    The deadline for submitting PEx01 is extended until Sept 23 at 5pm.
  • Sept. 14
    The labs will be starting today. They are held in the Eshrat Arjomandi Lab in CSE 1006 on the ground floor of CSE building. You are expected to attend the lab section where you are registered (either on Tuesdays or Thursdays). A tutor will be there to guide you through the programming exercises, discuss some additional topics, and answer your questions.
