Marking scheme for A3

Q1:  5 marks.  If they do a derivation, they don't need to write
justifications for each step, but the steps should be small enough
that the justification is obvious.

Q2:  For each part:
  1 mark for correct function g
  1 mark for the easy bound (upper bound for (a),(c), lower bound for (b))
  2 marks for the harder bound

Q3:  2 marks for upper bound, 3 for lower.

Q4(a):  1 for correct answer, 1 for showing their work
Q4(b):  4 marks (if they used the fact that log* is non-decreasing,
     without mentioning or proving it, don't deduct marks).

Q5(a):  1 for correct answer, 3 for argument.
Q5(b):  4 marks.

(Don't penalize if they assumed different bases for logs where the
base was not explicitly given.) 

Total 36.
