The (2nd) final exam has been scheduled for Wednesday 21 February 2001
at 15:30-18:30 in room CCB 115.
Project #2 is due by midnight 9 February 2000.
Midterm #2 (takehome) should be turned in by Monday 12 February 2001.
The rule is once one had downloaded it and read it,
one has four days to complete it and turn it in.
During the remedy schedule,
I am coming to our scheduled class times (fall term)
at the scheduled room.
I do not plan to redo the lectures per se,
but I am available to discuss the materials and assignments,
and to help students with the materials.
We are infomrally going through the course materials in class.
I also will hold my office hours as posted for fall term.
Students are obliged to cover the materials under the syllabus
and to complete the posted projects and assignments.
On my return and once remedy is underway,
I will post a due-date schedule.
Projects:
Project #3 has been eliminated.
The class concurred.
Projects #1 and #2 will constitute the project mark (30%)
at 15% each.
For anyone who only does Project #1 (or just Project #2),
it will count for 20%.
This is so that the "missing" project would only count
10% against the final grade.
This is just to be fair,
since the original three proejcts were worth 10% each.
Anyone who wants to do a third project anyway can see me.
For those,
grade-wise I will pick the best two marks of the three.
